Independent jewellery designer and goldsmith based in Dublin, Ireland.

Using recycled solid gold and sterling silver, I design and hand make sustainable fine jewellery in my studio in Dublin city centre. Nothing is wasted, with even the precious metal dust and tiny pieces of scrap being collected to build texture on other pieces. I place great importance on inclusive design, creating pieces which are designed to be worn by anybody. All pieces are available in any size and most are customisable.

My interest in jewellery, wearable objects, and ornamental art stretches back to childhood, with trips to museums and my mother instilling an appreciation for historical artefacts, art, and the handmade.

I have always been fascinated by the mark of a human hand on objects, particularly ancient metalwork. I place great importance on hand fabrication and process. I studied History of Art and Architecture in Trinity College Dublin, with a year studying abroad in central Rome, something which had a significant influence on my interest in ancient craft. After the pandemic, I took a short introductory course in silversmithing, and knew I had found a new fixation.

I draw on a wide range of inspiration from the world around me while creating pieces which do not appear to belong to any particular time or place, with occasional references to ancient craftwork. Architectural ornament, industrial building materials, the natural world, intriguing textures, the extraterrestrial, and the brutal but beautiful are common sources of inspiration. I am particularly influenced by processes of weathering and degeneration, and how appearances of materials can change over time.

Some of my favourite works are the bespoke commissions I have created to mark special occasions and achievements, as custom-made gift, to celebrate relationship milestones, or to memorialise a loved one. I would love to hear from you.
